Welcome to Animal Aftercare("we," "us," or "our"). We provide lead generation for end-of-life pet care services, connecting families with pre-vetted local providers for pet euthanasia, pet cremation, and equine cremation. We’re committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Service includes:
- Personal Data You Provide:
- When you submit a request for an aftercare provider, we collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address (street, city, state, ZIP code), requested service type, animal type, urgency, and any notes or images you choose to include.
- When you sign up as a provider, we collect your business name, contact name, contact email address, contact phone number, and service area preferences.
- Payment and Financial Data: All financial information related to provider per-lead payments is collected and stored by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.

We use tracking technologies like cookies (via Google Analytics) to help understand user behavior and improve your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations with the following third parties:
- Aftercare Providers: When you submit a request, your contact information (name, email, phone) and address details, along with the service requested and any additional context, are shared with our network of pre-vetted local providers in your service area. This is essential for providers to contact you and arrange services. Providers on the free per-lead model will have this information redacted until they choose to pay for the lead.

4. Data Security and Retention
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. We rely on the security measures provided by our third-party service providers (e.g., Stripe) for data collected and stored on their platforms. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
We retain personal information related to aftercare requests for as long as necessary to fulfill our business purposes, including lead distribution and analysis, and to comply with legal obligations. Provider account information is retained for the duration of the relationship and as required by law.
